3M™ VHB™ Tape 4611 is a dark gray, 0.045 in (1.1 mil), general purpose adhesive with firm foam that has the added feature of high temperature resistance. Here's a solution for bonding bare or painted metal, plastics and other materials without using fasteners such as rivets and bolts, and without having to use messy liquid adhesives

High temperature capability makes this family often suitable for bonding prior to high temperature paint processing. It is typically used on metal substrates such as aluminum, galvanized steel and stainless steel. Applications for this tape include stiffener and panel attachment, including assembly before paint ovens as well asdecorative material and trim.

• Double-sided foam tape made of closed-cell acrylic material.

• Dark gray in color, 0.045 inch (1.1 mil) thickness

• Can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications

• Resists moisture, solvents and holds up to exposure to ultraviolet light

• Damps vibration, which reduces noise and wear

• Sold by the case of 36 yard rolls in widths of 0.5 inch, 0.75 inch, 1 inch or 3 inches 

• Cases of other widths 1/4"-48" can be ordered from the manufacturer or may be slit.
