3M™ VHB™ Tape RP+040GF with a film liner is a gray, 0.016 in (0.4 mm) thick, multi-purpose acrylic, double sided, adhesive tape with a conformable, foam core. Since 1980, 3M™ VHB™ Tape reliably bonds a variety of materials with high strength and speed for permanent applications. This tape uses a durable acrylic adhesive with viscoelastic properties to provide excellent shear strength, conformability, surface adhesion and temperature resistance. The strong double sided foam tape adheres to a broad range of substrates, including aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel and medium surface energy plastics such as composites, acrylic, polycarbonate and ABS.  Ask about the paper liner now available in the RP+ line.
