3M™ VHB™ Tape 4905. It is a clear, 0.020 in (0.5 mm) tape with general purpose acrylic adhesive. It can replace rivets, welds and screws. The fast and easy to use permanent bonding method provides high strength and long-term durability. It offers design flexibility with its viscoelasticity and powerful ability to bond to a variety of surfaces. This double-sided clear acrylic tape is 0.02 inches thick and bonds to bare metal, plastics and glass, so you don't have to use messy liquid adhesives or metal fasteners that can damage glass or plastic. Order 72-yard rolls in widths of 0.5 inches, 0.75 inches or 1 inch.

Recommended Applications:

It is commonly used in applications to join transparent material or where clear or colorless tape is preferred. It is specifically designed for good adhesion to metal, glass and plastics such as polycarbonate and acrylic. 3M™ VHB™ Very High Bond tape is the clear choice for working with sliding glass doors, skylights and other glass or plastic applications because it is clear.
