3M™ VHB™ 4910 is 0.040 " (1.0 mm) thick double-coated clear tape featuring a general purpose, clear acrylic adhesive. General purpose adhesive and firm acrylic foam core offers a good balance of strength and conformability. Replaces rivets, bolts, screws, welding and liquid adhesives

This family of clear tapes is excellent for applications where clear or colorless is desired. The general purpose adhesive on both sides is suitable for high surface energy substrates.

Recommended Applications

It is commonly used in applications to join transparent material or where clear or colorless tape is preferred. It is specifically designed for good adhesion to metal, glass and plastics such as polycarbonate and acrylic. Application ideas include sealing between inner and outer domes of skylights; attaching handles to sliding glass doors; mounting back-lit translucent signs; and edge bonding resin-filled glass.
